In a bar called Mary’s, you better believe their Bloody Mary ($18.0) represents. Served with grilled cheese and a crispy slice of bacon, you couldn’t really go wrong. The actual drink tastes like a meal, a bacon meal; and is suitably thick but slightly sour given the alcohol counterpart.
The mash and gravy ($5.0) was like butter sliding down my throat. Warm and creamy and semi smoked. Very tasty. Get on it.
The fried chicken (half bird $16.0) is a nice lightly spiced, juicy chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed it, though it’s definitely not as strong as the sweet sauced varieties of Korean Fried Chicken.
The Mary’s Burger ($15.00 is a perfect patty served on a soft brioche bun. Overall it’s slightly dry given the lack of mayo or other sauce, but it’s a nice burger. Crispy shoestring fries were stuffed into the basket as well, and made for a good side.
TL;DR A hidden bum looking joint which hides some perfect Bloody Marys and Mash & Gravy.
